Reading the Bible Through in 2023

I have long wanted to create an online space in which people could discuss Bible passages. To that end, this blog will show what chapters to read/listen to each day to finish reading the Bible through in a little less than 1 year. We will read 3 chapters every day except on Sundays. On Sundays we will read 5 chapters. If I calculated correctly, this reading plan will finish on Christmas day 2023.

Feel free to comment, reflect and/ or to agree, disagree and, perhaps most importantly, to agree to disagree and move forward together. This is a place for civil and respectful discussion/reflection.

Some scriptures to consider:

Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

Matthew 7: 1& 2 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Romans 14:4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

On January 1, 2023, we will begin our journey of reading through the Bible together in a year. Each day, this blog will show which chapters to read and a link to those chapters on https://www.biblegateway.com If you prefer a different translation of the Bible please feel free to use that one.
